What the HQ600-SP punching shearing line does

The LT HQ600-SP is a CNC punching and shearing line for copper and aluminium busbar that runs feeding, positioning, clamping, punching, shearing, die changing and discharge automatically once the bar is loaded. That removes the manual re-clamping between separate machines which is the main source of position error and handling time in South African panel shops. It is specified for high and low voltage switchgear, switchboards, transformer manufacturing, box-type substations and busway production, and is normally bought together with an LT bending machine to form a complete cut‑punch‑bend cell.

Measured performance — HQ600-SP

Test conditions: Copper and aluminium busbar processed with automatic feeding, automatic positioning, automatic clamping, automatic punching, automatic shearing, automatic die replacement and automatic discharge.

Measured values: Seven automatic functions run without manual intervention between operations; tooling provides 7 or 8 punching stations plus 1 shearing station with optional embossing; supplied with 8 punching dies, 1 shear blade, maintenance tools and manuals with certificates.

Benchmark: A single clamping per bar against the manual alternative of moving the bar between separate cutting, punching and embossing machines — each manual move reintroduces the datum the machine had already established.
