The LT HQ600-SP is a CNC busbar punching and shearing machine that cuts, punches, chamfers and embosses in a single clamping using inline die sets of up to eight punches plus one shear blade. Once a long bar is clamped it feeds and swaps clamps automatically, so the operator does not re-handle the bar between features. South African switchgear builders run it upstream of an LT CNC bending machine to complete the punch-and-shear stage of IEC 61439 busbar production.
Test conditions: Copper and aluminium busbar, single clamping with automatic clamp transfer and automatic feed between features including round, square, slotted and special-shaped holes.
Measured values: Inline tooling offering 7 or 8 punching stations plus 1 shearing station; embossing available; supplied with 8 punching dies, 1 shear blade, a maintenance tool set and manuals with certificates.
Benchmark: One clamping per bar versus moving the bar between separate cutting, punching and embossing machines in manual workflows.
