The LT SXC30-750 is a 300 kN hydraulic press for punching and forming copper busbar and sheet metal, with a 750 mm throat that reaches into wide plates. It punches up to ⌀60 mm through 6 mm material and steps at up to 12 strokes per minute under PLC control with digital-axis positioning. South African workshops use it for busbar end punching, lug work and general plate fabrication where throat reach matters more than automation.
Test conditions: Copper busbar and steel plate up to 6 mm thick, welded and stress-annealed bed to prevent frame distortion over long service.
Measured values: Nominal pressure 300 kN; maximum processing diameter ⌀60 mm; maximum thickness 6 mm; throat depth 750 mm; stepping up to 12 strokes/min; PLC with digital axis system.
Benchmark: The throat depth is the only difference from the otherwise identical SXC30-550 — 750 mm versus 550 mm. Pick the 750 when plate widths need the extra 200 mm of reach.
