What the XT-200 portable cutter does

The LT XT-200 is a portable hydraulic busbar cutter and puncher for copper and aluminium busbar work in high and low voltage switch cabinets and power transmission equipment. It is semi-automatic: the operator selects the matching die and the hydraulic head does the cut or punch, covering round and oblong holes as well as straight cuts. Hydraulic drive keeps the unit small and light while still delivering high thrust, so it can be carried to a panel rather than requiring the busbar to be brought to a machine. For maintenance crews and site retrofit work in South Africa it removes the need to transport long busbar runs back to a fixed workshop.

Measured values: Semi-automatic control; hydraulic drive giving small volume, light weight, high thrust and high efficiency; covers straight cutting and punching of round and oblong holes.

Benchmark: Portable hydraulic unit against a fixed floor machine: the tool goes to the busbar, so a single cut or punch on installed equipment does not need the bar to be removed and transported.
